When Evan reached out to me about wanting to organize a surprise proposal in Moab I could sense the “I’m confident but nervous about this” energy. So, we made a solid plan. We chose to meet at the Green River Overlook, and by meet I mean I was trying to look inconspicuous behind the rocks while he was trying to find the perfect moment to propose to Jordan. When he dropped to one knee, I felt like the whole world stopped.
Jordan had no idea he was going to propose. She was ecstatic and crying and feeling all the feelings. Evan… well you could see that human was proud. So proud and so in love. And I can’t believe I got to be a part of this moment. THEIR HUGE MOMENT.
In my work, I strive for authenticity and for really showcasing people’s connection. The session we had was everything I love about photography. There was so much joy. So much love. We explored the overlook and watched the sun go down. They danced, they laughed, kissed a ton, cuddled, I cried and it truly felt like a celebration of life and love. At the edge of the world which is also known as Canyonlands National Park. What a incredible surprise proposal in Moab.
