When Echo was planning her 2023 wedding, there was no doubt in her mind where she wanted to celebrate. She had spent her entire life falling deeply in love with her family’s property, and she knew there was no better spot to gather with those most important to her. While she brought her professional wedding industry experience to the process, it was her father, Kyle, who put in most of the physical work. Together, the pair transformed this into a space worthy of any celebration. They fell so in love with this project, they decided to keep things going and open Wild Sage Resort! They now work with people from all over to plan weddings that celebrate the vast La Sal wilderness!
Details of the Grounds
As of right now, Wild Sage Resort works as an RV park and venue. As a result, you will want to find a spot where you can get ready ahead of your ceremony. Luckily, we have so many great hotels and AirBnBs across La Sal and Moab, so you can have a cozy spot that matches your style!
Your ceremony will take place outside with the La Sal Mountains in the background. This area is lovely and rustic with open fields everywhere you turn. They also have wooden benches where your guests can sit as you exchange your vows.
For your cocktail hour, your guests can hit up the outdoor bar before playing some lawn games.
Your reception can either remain outside or move inside the barn. With the latter option, you will have a lovely yet rustic spot for your countryside celebration! This area can also be reserved as a backup shelter in case the forecast calls for rain.

There isn’t a single bad backdrop throughout Wild Sage Resort! As you take your portraits, you will be able to use the open, golden fields with the mountain range just behind you. The venue also offers a rusty, vintage truck you can incorporate into your day.
