Moab is known for its warm and sunny weather but a few times a year we get hit by the monsoon and then we get a bit of a weather. And that’s exactly what happened on the day of this stormy Moab Utah Elopement. As the storm rolled in and the skies turned gray, H + C were all set for their adventurous Moab elopement—nothing was going to rain on their parade!
From the moment we touched down in Moab, the clouds gathered and a light drizzle began to fall. But instead of waiting it out, we decided to embrace the weather and make the most of it. We rushed around to capture stunning shots of Hollis’ hair wedding dress swirling in the wind, even as the raindrops started to fall. It’s truly moments like these, paired with the adventurous spirit of couples like them, that lead to some truly breathtaking photos!
This elopement was the perfect example of what it means to embrace spontaneity. When you choose to elope, you’re opening yourself up to adventure and letting go of strict plans. This flexibility allowed us to roll with whatever came our way, turning the unexpected into something magical. Whether it was rain or shine, the beautiful moments we created together at this Moab elopement were simply unforgettable!
