There are a lot of reasons why couples love Island in the Sky for their Moab sunset elopement. It is located over 1,000 feet above the terrain, with several overlooks for your ceremony. Plus, it’s easily accessible with four-wheel drives, so you don’t have to spend the entire day hiking (unless you want to, of course!).
The Windows Section – Arches National Park

When the sun goes down beneath the Arches? chef’s kiss. The Windows section of the park is a favorite, gives you unlimited breathtaking views across its two square miles. This area gives you iconic sites including the Double Arch and the Turret Arch.

If you feel like journeying outside the National Parks a bit, I think you will love Castleton Tower! This location falls under the Bureau of Land Management, so while you’ll have those same Moab views, you won’t have the NPS crowds. The tower is a red rock that sticks out thousands of feet over the rest of the desert. While many people choose to use it for a thrilling climb, it also makes for a pretty gorgeous backdrop, especially once the sun starts to set.
